An interactive storybook for iPad and Android tablet made in collaboration with World Wildlife Fund in 2014. This was my first project when I began at Grab Games, and I was tasked with picking up where past artists had started. My responsibilities included drawing and animating all the human characters and some of the animals that appear throughout the app. Illustrations were drawn in Paint Tool SAI and animations were done in Unity, where I also placed the characters I worked on.

Some graphics I created for WWF Explore!. While most of the UI and graphics had already been finished before I started working on the project, there were some loose ends to tie up. The opening video features a map and passport that were made by previous artists, and travel brochures for the regions the main characters visit that were made by me.

The game features a travelogue of animal facts that fills up as the children explore nature around the world. The design, layouts, and doodles were all made by me, while the map images were created by editing royalty free stock imagery and the photos of animals were provided by World Wildlife Fund, with proper credits given to their photographers.

The first task I worked on this project was animating a sloth. When the player taps on an animal, it will animate and a photograph of that creature will appear and create a new entry in the player’s travelogue.

A predator versus prey sequence I animated, showing the beginning of a timeless pursuit in survival. Somehow the humans are watching safely behind some bushes.

The finale of Zack's stolen hat search, which features a macaw in a tree and a toco toucan in another tree, as well as many, many more toucans resting in the treetops.
